Ray Wilson was born in Scotland on 8th September 1968. His father and father's brothers play guitar, his grandmother was a singer so it was obvious he is going to be fameous. His first music idol was David Bowie. Ray grew up listening to this music and he still love it. He also was influenced by the musical preferences of his father who listened a lot to Bob Dylan, Jackson Browne, Bruce Springsteen. He started making music at the age of fourteen in a school band called 'Pink Gin'. His first concert was was in front of a 700-800 people school audience.At the age of 18 Ray met Paul Holmes in a Piano Bar in Edinburgh and together with Ray's brother Steve they founded Guaranteed Pure - they recorded 2 albums. After great succes with single 'Inside' recorded with band Stiltskin Ray Wilson received a phone form Genesis. He join the band but only for few year until 2000. Since then Ray Wilson has been playing alone. He released 4 albums: Ray Wilson Live, The Next Best Thing, Change, Live And Acoustic.
